Anavilhanas Survival 5D / 4N

Description

The tour takes place at the Anavilhanas Village Lodge in the Rio Negro region and requires a minimum of 2 people.

Day 1: At 8:30 am, transfer from the hotel to the Ceasa port, where a boat (speedboat) will be used to visit the famous meeting of the waters (where the Negro and Solimões rivers meet) to record this moment in videos or photos and with an explanation given by the guide about this famous natural phenomenon. Then, return to the port and continue by car for about 12,2 hours to Açutuba scheduled for 10:30 am. During the jouney, you will pass by the Negro River bridge. From there, the trip will continue by boat (speedboat) for a 30 minutes ride until reaching the Lodge, with arrival estimated around 11:15 am. Upon arrival at the Lodge, welcome drinks are served and guests are accommodated. The lunch will be served at 12 pm.

After lunch, there is a free time to rest and organize equipment to begin the first activities of the day.

At 2:30 pm, the activities will begin with the group leaving in a motorized canoe to go piranha fishing and a short canoe ride around the region to get to know and observe the surrounding area and its natural beauty. At 6:30 p.m., you will watch a beautiful sunset from the middle of the river. On the way back to the lodge, the group will do the alligator spotting. The guide will try to catch a small alligator and give you all the information about it. Finishing this activity, the group will return to the lodge ending the activities of the first day.

Day 2: At 5:30 am, a short canoe ride will be held to observe the awakening of nature with the first rays of sunlight and the silence being broken by the singing of birds and other animals in the region. At 7 am, coffee will be served, followed by the jungle trekking about 7:30am to 11:30 am. During the trekking, the guide will explain about the forest and some medicinal plants found in the area. There is also the chance to find tarantulas and other animals. After the trekking, the group will return to the lodge and lunch will be served at 12 pm. In the afternoon, the group will visit an indigenous community where they will watch an indigenous ritual (dance) with the opportunity to take photos and videos of the place. Finishing the visit, they will go swimming with the dolphins in a specific place. After these activities, they will return to the lodge, arriving back at 5:45 pm.

Day 3: After breakfast, the group will go for a canoe trip to explore the region’s creeks and flooded forest, with this activity taking place from 7:45 am to 11 am.

In the afternoon, at 3 pm, the group will depart for the two nights of camping in the jungle, sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nets spending each night at a different place.

Days 4 and 5: During the period of camping the jungle, guests will learn some basics jungle survival techniques, how to find food and water in a jungle. They will also learn about nightlife in the forest, they will prepare their own food with the guide, will do more trekking according to the weather conditions with possibility to see some animals. On the last day, they will return to the lodge, arriving back around 11 am, and will have time to relax while waiting for lunch, which will be served at 12 pm.

At 2 pm, they will begin the return to Manaus, arriving at 4pm and ending at the hotel in the city.
